Migration from NETIM to hosting.fr
hosting.fr is taking over the hosting services from NETIM. We would like to present here the planned migration process and provide you with important information. We will complement this page with more helpful information soon.

Migration schedule
We plan to migrate your hosting services to our platform starting from 22/07/2025. All your data and settings will be transferred so that you will have to make very few changes on your end.
A few days before the migration, we will send an email notification for each webhosting package. This email will also contain the exact date for your package.
Billing information
hosting.fr will handle the billing from 01/08/2025. Any credit with Netim will be synchronized to our platform on 31/07/2025.
hosting.fr uses two different billing models. You can either pay AFTER receiving an invoice or top up credit in advance. Here are the differences:

| We automatically debit your selected means of payment. | You need to top up your credit regularly. |
We recommend the postpaid procedure so that your products are renewed automatically and you do not have to worry about topping up your credit. For the postpaid model, we offer you:
- SEPA direct debit
- Automatic debit from your credit card
- Automatic debit from your Paypal account
- For companies and public institutions: bank transfer to our account
For the prepaid model, we offer you:
- Bank transfer to our account (up to 5 business days)
- Instant top-up via credit card
- Instant top-up via Paypal
All instant top-ups can be made via the client interface. You will also find our bank account information in your client area.
Unlike Netim, hosting.fr does not issue pro forma invoices. We recommend that customers who previously paid pro forma invoices manually switch to an automatic postpaid payment method. If you do not want automatic debit, you can opt for the prepaid model. Please then make sure you always have sufficient credit.
Domains
In the future, all domains will be automatically renewed by us. This also applies to domains that need to be renewed during the migration phase.
Depending on the selected payment method, domains will no longer be renewed if there is insufficient credit. In principle, all postpaid payment methods and sufficient credit result in a renewal.
Domains can be actively cancelled in the client interface if no further renewal is desired.
Webhosting
Your webhosting packages will be created in our system in the coming days, but without any content for now. You will receive an email from us with the exact migration date for your webhosting services.
During the migration, we will transfer all your hosting data as well as all your database data, and we will automatically adjust possible database accesses in your configuration files, if necessary.
FTP accounts will also be transferred. However, the usernames will be changed. It will also be necessary to set a new password. Here is a guide explaining how to find your FTP credentials and set a new password:
On the announced migration date, we will also transfer your email addresses into our system. We will also copy all your emails. It is possible that the complete synchronization of all your messages will take some time.
We will keep the username corresponding to your email address as well as your password. All you need to do is change the POP/IMAP and SMTP server name in your email software to mail.routing.net.

Storage space
Your packages include a certain amount of storage space for email addresses. This storage space can be freely distributed among the email addresses. All mailboxes have been set up with sufficient storage space to synchronize all emails. You can increase the storage space for an email address free of charge in the hosting.fr customer interface. To do this, simply edit the email address and increase the available storage space.
