In which directory should I upload my data?

The directory a domain or subdomain accesses in the web space can be viewed and possibly adjusted in the hosting.fr client portal as follows:

• Select the “Products” item on the left in the menu.
  
• Select the “Web Hosting” sub-item in the “Products” menu.
  
• Under the domain to be modified, select “Show details”. If you manage a large number of domains within a web space, you may need to click “Show all” beforehand to get a complete overview.
  

• In the “General Data” section, you will see which folder is currently assigned to the domain in the “HTML” root directory. If you want to adjust the folder, click the “Edit” button.
  Please note: If you have installed a CMS via the 1-click installer, it is not recommended to change the directory afterward, as this will make your CMS management interface inaccessible.
  

• In the “Path” line, you can now adjust the directory. Attention: The selected directory will not be automatically created in the web space, it is simply the configuration of the (sub-)domain. The directory structure itself must be modified via FTP.
  
• Finally, confirm your changes with “Save”.
