How can I restore a backup of my web space?

A backup of your web space can be easily and comfortably restored via the hosting.fr client portal.
Attention: If you use a CMS like Joomla or Wordpress, a backup of your databases is always necessary in such cases. A web space restoration alone is not enough to restore the original state.
Please refer to the corresponding Helpdesk articles for details on managing database backups.

• Select “Products” in the menu on the left.
  
• In the “Products” menu, choose “Web Hosting”.
  
• Under the web space, select “Show details”.
  

• Go to the “Backups” section and click on “Restore backup”.
  

• Select the desired backup and click on the restore button next to it.
  Please note: A backup always includes the entire web space and cannot be applied to individual domains within the web space. If you manage multiple domains in a web space, keep in mind that restoring a backup will reset the data of all domains in this web space.
  

• Confirm the data restoration with a checkmark and complete the process by clicking the “Restore” button. The restoration will then be carried out.
