How to configure Android Mail?
Note: Android is a system that undergoes considerable modifications by different smartphone manufacturers. Therefore, the default email client installed on your smartphone may differ from the following screenshots.
The data required to configure your mailbox is the same for all models.
- Launch your email client and choose “Add a new account”.

- Choose the desired mailbox type. IMAP is recommended for easy synchronization of your smartphone with other email clients.

- In the “Email address” field, enter the email address of the account to be configured.
- In the “Username” field, also enter the email address of the account to be configured.
- In the “Password” field, enter the password of the email account to be retrieved.

- As the receiving server, enter mail.routing.net.
- As the sending server, enter mail.routing.net.
- SSL or TLS encryption for receiving and sending is optional, but strongly recommended.

Depending on how you use your mailbox (IMAP or POP3) and the desired encryption, here are the ports to configure in your email program:

- Then click “Connect”.
- Android Mail will now start configuring your mailbox and will give you feedback if the configuration is successful.
