Are my emails permanently deleted if I delete the mailbox?

After deleting a mailbox, the data remains in a “recoverable” state for seven days. During this period, you can restore the mailbox without restriction.

After seven days, deleted mailboxes are permanently removed from the system. No backups are then available.

If you want to delete an email address but keep the mailbox data, we recommend making a local backup of your data.
