Some contacts that are suggested to you during registration are necessary for certain services across systems. The contact “Hostmaster of the Day” is often used as Zone-C, or as a contact point for DNS zone management. Other contacts are required for the registration of country-specific domain extensions, for which a trustee service is necessary unless you are a resident of the respective country.

However, these trustee contacts should only be used if they are actually necessary for the domain order. For common domain extensions, please enter your own contact details as the holder.
