Where can I find my database access credentials?
- Select the “Products” item in the menu on the left.
- In the “Products” menu, select “Databases”.
- Under the database to be processed, select “Show details”. If you manage a large number of databases, you may need to click “Show all” to get a complete overview.

- You will now see all users created for this database. On the left in the column, you see the username.
- If you want to change the database user’s password, you can do so via the “Edit” button.

- Click the pencil icon next to the database user.

- Enter a new password in the “New password” line.
- Repeat the new password in the “Repeat new password” line.
- If you wish, instead of entering your own password, you also have the option to have a secure password generated by the system. To do this, click the key icon at the end of the “New password” line.
- Finally, confirm the new password via the “Save” button.

Please note that when using a CMS such as WordPress or Joomla, after changing the database password, it is generally necessary to also adjust the access credentials in the corresponding configuration file, otherwise your CMS will not be able to connect to the database. You will find in your CMS documentation which file it is and the adjustments to be made.
Please also note: if you manage multiple databases but have only one user for all, changing the password will affect all databases using this user.
