How can I change my login credentials?

You can change your credentials in the hosting.fr client portal directly after logging in.

• Change the username:
  

  • After logging into the client interface, click on your username at the top right.
    
  
  
  
  • Click on “Profile”.
    
  
  
  
  • Click on “Edit” next to “Login credentials”.
    
  
  
  
  • Next to “Change email address”, you will see a sliding button. If you activate it, the “Email address” field will become editable and you can enter a new login address. Confirm the change by clicking the “Save” button.
    
  
  
  
  • Please note that a username change can only be made once every 24 hours for security reasons.
    

• Change the user password:
  

  • After logging into the client interface, click on your username at the top right.
    
  • Click on “Profile”.
    
  • Click on “Edit” next to “Login credentials”.
    
  • Next to “Change password”, you will see a sliding button. Activate it.
    
  
  
  
  • Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again. Please ensure it is sufficiently complex and secure. For tips on structuring a secure password, please refer to the corresponding FAQ point.
    
  • Enter your current password for verification.
    
  • Confirm the password change by clicking the “Save” button.
    
  
  
  
  • If you wish, instead of entering your own password, you also have the option to have a secure password generated by the system. Click on the key icon next to the “New password” line.
    
  
  
  
  • Using the clipboard icon next to the newly generated password, you can easily copy it to the clipboard and then confirm it in “Repeat password”.
    
  • Here too, you must enter your current password again for verification and then confirm the password change by clicking the “Save” button.
