How to change my contact details?
Your contractual data, such as your address, contact email address, etc., should always be up to date so that your invoices are correctly issued and contact is always possible. Different entries in your customer account are affected. Below we show you which of hosting.fr’s contractual data you can update yourself and how to proceed.
Changes you can make yourself
To change your address data (for correct billing and possibly for postal contact), you must do this directly in the hosting.fr client interface:

- In the “Account” menu, select the sub-item “Contact details”.
- Go to the sub-item “Address” and click on “Edit”.

- After you have completed the modification of your data, confirm it by clicking the “Save” button.

- Select the “Account” item in the menu on the left.
The contact email address for technical and accounting questions (e.g., sending invoices) must also be changed in the hosting.fr client interface:

- Select the “Products” item in the menu on the left.
- In the “Products” menu, select the sub-item “Domains”.
- Under the domain to be modified, choose the “Show details” item. If you manage a large number of domains, you will need to click on “Show all” beforehand to get a complete overview of your domains.

Changes requiring support intervention
- If the account owner changes (e.g., when transferring the account from an individual to a company), this is a contract change in the legal sense. This change always requires the agreement of the previous and new contract holder. An informal letter is usually sufficient. This letter must contain the complete contact details of the new account holder, including the phone number and email address. Please send us the letter signed by both parties, preferably by fax or as a scan/photo by email to support@hosting.fr.
- If only the last name of the contractual partner changes (e.g., by marriage), please contact hosting.fr support at support@hosting.fr for instructions on how to proceed. Generally, proof of the name change is sufficient.
