The TLD .CO.ZA has a special way of confirming or denying a deletion. .CO.ZA makes use of a voting system, which involves owner-, admin-, tech- and billing-contact.
- An email will be send to each individual contact, were this person is ask for approval or denial of the deletion.
- If one party responds with a disapproval the deletion will fail.
- If a party does not respond, this will not be considered.
- At least one party has to approve.
Transfer
The transfer must be initiated by our system.
The Owner of the domain receives a power of attorney form by email. This power of attorney must be confirmed by clicking on a link.
Usually, a transfer completes in 5 Days.
After a transfer, our system synchronizes the domain owner from the registry to our system. If possible, you can initiate an owner change if you want to replace the synchronized owner.
The TLD .CO.ZA has a special way of confirming or denying a transfer. .CO.ZA makes use of a voting system, which involves owner contact and registrar.
Once a transfer has been initiated, the current owner and current registrar of the domain will be notified of the transfer request. Both have 5 days to accept this request. If none of them accepts, or if one objection is made, the transfer will be denied. If the owner accepts, the transfer is completed instantaneously.
A .CO.ZA domain name can not be transferred during its Anniversary Period. This period is two (2) days prior to its expiration up to the fifth (5th) of the following month.
