Transfer

After a transfer, our system synchronizes the domain owner from the registry to our system. If possible, you can initiate an owner change if you want to replace the synchronized owner.

After initiating a transfer, each contact receives the following instructions in our system:

to transfer a .XN--P1AI domain, please follow these steps:

1. You now have to log in to the .RU web interface using his NIC-D handle and password. This information can be requested at at https://www.nic.ru/en/cgi/pass_forgot.cgi
2. Once logged in, please navigate to "Form > Change partner". There, use our NIC-REG handle: 5353/NIC-REG to transfer the domain to us.

Shortly after the transfer in the .RU web interface, the transfer will be completed.

Owner Change

Owner change is not supported. It is not possible to change the owner of a domain name.
