.stream is an ICANN generic top-level domain intended for sites whose primary purpose is disseminating streaming media. On 8 January 2016, ICANN and dot Stream Limited entered into a Registry Agreement under which dot Stream Limited operates the .stream top-level domain. The 2017 Global Amendment to the base New gTLD Registry Agreement was effectively applied to .stream as of 31 July 2017.
