Transfer

The transfer must be initiated by our system.

The Owner of the domain receives a power of attorney form by email. This power of attorney must be confirmed by clicking on a link.

If the old registrar does not respond to the transfer within 15 Days, the transfer is automatically cancelled.

Usually, a transfer completes in 15 Days.

Please notice that the .LU registry charges a so-called non-refundable application fee for each domain transfer. That means that, when a transfer fails, not the full transfer price will get refunded. Regarding prices please have a look at our price list.

Owner Change

An owner change may incur fees. Please check your price list. The owner change can be easily initiated in our system.

The old Owner and the new Owner receive an email from the registrar and must confirm the owner change.

In case of an owner change, the paid period is reset and the domain is immediately renewed for one year.
