Transfer

Once the transfer has been triggered in our system, the domain must be pushed into our system.

After a transfer, our system synchronizes the domain owner from the registry to our system. If possible, you can initiate an owner change if you want to replace the synchronized owner.

After initiating a transfer, each contact receives the following instructions in our system:

Dear Domain Contact,

to transfer a .IR domain, please follow these steps:
1. You now have to log in to the web interface of the registry here: https://www.nic.ir/Login?r=%2FMy_Domains
2. If you lost your password, please try to use "Reset your password". In some cases your old registrar could help you with the credentials.
3. Once logged in, please mark your domain(s) and click on "Change Contacts". There, set ht1416-irnic as admin, tech and billing contact to transfer the domain to us.

It may take some time after the contact changes until the transfer will be completed in our system.

Owner Change

Owner change is only supported directly in the registry. You cannot change the owner with our system.
