It’s good if you have the final say on most elements. You are, for example, free to choose Apache instead of nginx when setting up your server. But it’s even better if we compensate for Apache’s performance shortcomings using an nginx proxy that redirects traffic.

It’s good if you can associate an SSL certificate with your domains with a single click. But it’s even better if we store your certificates on our central key server. While these could easily be affected by man-in-the-middle attacks on your own server, our infrastructure guarantees you maximum security. When the browser verifies the validity of a certificate, nginx retrieves the necessary information from the key server, itself accessible only via a secure internal LAN connection.

We have developed our entire hosting platform ourselves. In doing so, we designed a three-step system: first, the interface or API transmits requests to the platform. Second, these are validated on the platform, then transmitted to the relevant service. Finally, in the last step, the requests are processed. What do you get from this? This standardized validation guarantees you high and consistent data quality, regardless of the service.

We strive to minimize errors as much as possible when making changes to the platform. To this end, we use the C++ programming language, which allows us to structure our ideas and implement them reliably and optimized for hardware. The quality assurance of these developments relies on a three-level bug correction system: the first consists of a compiler that detects major errors. The second level corresponds to regular code review by our developers. Finally, the third includes unit tests as part of our test-driven development approach. This allows us to guarantee comprehensive control of all our products.
